The SATADOM-ML 3IS4 from Innodisk features an L³ architecture with the latest SATA III (6.0 GHz) Marvell NAND controller. Innodisk's unique L³ architecture is L² architecture multiplied by LDPC (Low Density Parity Check). The L² (Long Life) architecture is a 4K mapping algorithm that reduces the Write Amplification Factor (WAF) and incorporates a real-time wear leveling algorithm to provide high performance and extended life with a exceptional reliability.The SATADOM-ML 3IS4 3IS2-P from Innodisk is designed for server applications. The height of the SATADOM for a 1U (44.5 mm) high server is ideal for any server configuration. Additionally, its main advantage is the ability to use a SATA boot device without using a drive bay.
The innovative Pin 8 uses the SATA connector itself as a power source to drive the device without external cables. It can be connected directly to the onboard SATA socket in the customer system without additional power cables. In addition, the boot time and power consumption is less than that of a hard drive (HDD), it can operate in harsh environments, it supports the ATA protocol, requires no additional drives, and can be configured as a boot device or of data storage.
