Innodisk SATADOM-ML 3IS2-P
Innodisk's SATADOM (Serial ATA Disk on Module) supports the SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) standard interface with excellent performance; and the SATADOM-ML 3IS2-P has been designed in the smallest form factor for greater compatibility with design applications.Innodisk's SATADOM-ML 3IS2-P is designed for server applications. The height of the SATADOM for a 1U (44.5 mm) high server is ideal for any server configuration. Additionally, its main advantage is the ability to use a SATA boot device without using a drive bay.
The innovative Pin 8 uses the SATA connector itself as a power source to drive the device without external cables. It can be connected directly to the onboard SATA socket in the customer system without additional power cables. In addition, the boot time and power consumption is less than that of a hard drive (HDD), it can operate in harsh environments, it supports the ATA protocol, requires no additional drives, and can be configured as a boot device or of data storage.
